Nash High

Drawn to both the creative and the technical, Nash spent three years studying English Writing and Computer Science before leaving to pursue his own work in 2011.  Since then he has spent most of his time writing and recording music as Street Nymphs, though he has also taken some time to write plays and short stories, design games, draw, and take photos.  Lately he has been working on producing Street Nymphs' second full album, Good Spirits.  Along with this, he has also been designing and programming the Voodoo Music Generator, a computer program that composes music.

More of Nash:

Katrina High

One afternoon in late July several years ago, Katrina High was born. At the time, George H.W. Bush was the president of the United States of America, Mike Tyson and Jeffrey Dahmer had both been arrested, DJ Jazzy Jeff and The Fresh Prince had just released their fourth album, and rock art was being discovered at Cosquer Cave in France. Katrina High wasn’t aware of any of that at the time, though, on account of she was a little preoccupied with being born. At the time, she had a mohawk of soft baby hair and, if photographical evidence is to be believed, she constantly squinted.

Now, many years later, Katrina High has pushed through infancy and adolescence only to emerge as a young adult. She no longer rocks a mohawk, though, if she wanted to, she surely could. She has dark, thick, and curly hair that match her dark, thick, and frequently untamed eyebrows. Her eyes have shifted, like putty, into a near-blindness, for which she compensates with heavy-duty glasses. She studies English, and correlatively spends much of her “free” time reading and writing. Okay, that’s a lie, she spends most of her “free” time watching Teen Wolf and playing Candy Crush, but that’s not exactly anything to be proud of.

However, when she’s being productive and not pathetic, Katrina High does a wide array of creating. She writes. She draws. She collages. She vlogs. She pretends to have a fashion blog. She bakes. And she fancies her self quite funny. (And she was probably supposed to write more about what creative ventures she pursues in this bio, but, as her mother used to say, “You get what you get and you don’t throw a fit.”)
